Snoopy’s Introduction

"A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more

than he loves himself"

- Josh Billings

Snoopy was born on May 3rd, 2008 and three weeks later my brother went to New Jersey to pick him up. He was all black with a white patch on his neck area and majority white on his chest. He was tiny with big bright blue eyes, literally puppy eyes. We immediately fell in love with him and he fell in love with us. You are probably wondering why we chose the name Snoopy. Actually, we were thinking of the name Oreo but my mother chose Snoopy. He learned how to go up the stairs but was scared to go down the stairs, eventually he learned. Snoopy loved going to the park, playing with toys specifically balls. When at the park, you will see him running or walking back with his mouth full, he would find baseballs and come with the two balls in his mouth full of excitement. Snoopy, enjoyed running so much and of course, I cannot forget how much he loved to roll on the grass as well as eat it. Funny moments were when he ate the grass his farts would smell like it, and he would look at you as if you farted and not him. In 2013, Princess was brought to our home in which Snoopy was always gentle and caring with her. She followed him everywhere and he showed her all the adorable doggy behavior. Throughout the years, Snoopy demonstrated his love, his trust and his loyalty toward us. In 2014, we noticed Snoopy had weakness and loss of balance in his left leg, he demonstrated unusual behavior therefore Snoopy was taken to Yonkers Animal Specialty and my brother was given concerning news.
